Booking Terms and Conditions

Any out standing payments, damage to the property (Venue, Furniture, etc) shall be deducted from the initial Refundable Deposit made (i.e £500.00) and refund within 2 week after the even.

The Hirer shall undertake to prevent any member of his party from causing a nuisance or disturbance to neighboring residents or occupiers.

Mehfil accept no responsibility for loss, injury or damage to any member of the Hirer’s party or their property, arising in any manner out of the let of the premises, however caused.

A minimum 100 adult are required for standard banquet price of £35.00 per person. Additional charges will apply for less than 100 people. A charge of £35.00 per table is applicable if any additional table is required.

We strictly do not allow any sort of Dhol performance after 10.00 pm.

A refundable deposit of £500 is required to confirm a booking. Full payment for the final number of guests and bar is required two weeks before the Event.

Hirer needs to pay 2.5% credit card payment charges, if payment is made by using a credit card. However, Mehfil accepts all modes of payment.

Take away is not allowed out of the left over food in the Event. However, a family pack can be given if requested to have one.

For added Safety and Security reasons the entire venue is covered with CCTV. The same footage shall be used to count the number of people in the function and for police referrals.

The hirer is requested to provide an accurate as possible estimate of the number of guests at least 48 hours prior to the start of the function. If the number of guests increases on the day, we will inform you the actual number after starters have been served. The hirer has to pay for the excess number of people before the Main course is served. If the number of guests is less than the function booked for, no refund is available.

Party Poppers, Cannons or any of the similar products is strictly not allowed inside the Venue.

Mehfil is not responsible for any damage to vehicles in the car park and the loss of any personal belonging(s) left unattended.

Access times are subject to agreement with Mehfil. Please confirm prior to function.

The entire building is a non-smoking zone and pets are not allowed. The hirer is responsible for ensuring guests do not smoke within the building.

Mehfil operates a policy of ‘zero-tolerance’. Any verbal or physical abuse with staff will not be tolerated and offenders will be liable to prosecution.

The hirer is liable for any damage caused to the property, equipment, fixture and fittings and bar / food dues, the same shall be deducted from the booking deposit.

Mehfil reserve the right to refuse the entry, to terminate the Event, at any time in the interest of safety of its staff, property and other guests.

If after the booking, in a rare occasion that Mehfil is unable to accommodate your function, it shall inform you at the earliest possible opportunity and return any deposit paid. Mehfil is not responsible for any other costs that you might have to incur, however it will do the best to help you with finding a suitable alternative.

The function is strictly booked for a 4.5 hour period, either in the afternoon (12.00 – 16.30) or for the evening (1900 – 11.30).

Mehfil reserves the right to alter these terms and conditions without prior notice.
Cancellation Policy
If at least 90 days’ notice is given, a fee of £200 will be deducted from the deposit, however if less than 90 days’ notice is received, the deposit is non-refundable. Once the full payment is made and if cancelled in less than 2 weeks only 50% of the payments made are refunded or 75% is transferred to new postponed date and 25% is deducted as cancellation charges.
